What is microneedling?


Microneedling is a safe and highly-effective FDA-approved skin remodeling treatment. Microneedling uses an innovative way to trigger your own body’s cells to refresh and revitalize the skin, minimize acne scarring, reduce the size of large pores, tighten the skin, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. 

A microneedling treatment involves a device equipped with superfine, micro-sized needles. The needles create very tiny punctures in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate your body to procedure collagen and elastin–the building blocks for firm, youthful, stronger, and more beautiful skin.

What should I expect during a microneedling treatment?

A microneedling treatment begins with applying a numbing cream to your skin to minimize discomfort. The treatment is not generally described as painful, but we do want to ensure your experience feels gentle and relaxing. 

A microneedling treatment generally takes 20-30 minutes.

A device with a number of tiny needles will then be passed over the targeted treatment area, applying the needles to the skin and creating many micro injuries carefully to its surface. The treatment increases circulation, which makes the skin more healthy and youthful-looking. Meanwhile, underneath the skin, the micro-injuries trigger the production of collagen and elastin, which jumpstarts the natural healing process of your body and thus creates new, healthier, firmer, and stronger skin.

Who is a candidate for microneedling? 


Men or women who would like to achieve smoother, firmer, and rejuvenated skin without a surgical procedure, may be ideal candidates for microneedling. Microneedling is safe for all skin types and colors. Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
