DermalinfusionArtistry In Plastic Surgery

Vibrant, glowing, healthy skin is a very attractive quality. Environmental factors such as pollution and exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays will cause your facial skin to become dull and lackluster.

Combined with the visible signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, areas of hyperpigmentation, and it is time to give your facial skin a boost. Dermalinfusion from Dr. Brent Birely combines the resurfacing effects of microdermabrasion with deep infusion of serums to reduce the visible signs of aging, restore the health of your skin, and give you the youthful glow you’ve been longing for.

What Is Dermalinfusion?

Dermalinfusion, formerly known as the SilkPeel, is a patented three-in-one facial treatment that exfoliates, performs extractions, and infuses the skin with treatment serums designed to address an array of skin conditions. Using a process known as hydrodermabrasion, Dermalinfusion removes the outermost layer of the skin through the use of water and diamond-tip microdermabrasion. At the same time, condition-specific serums are infused into the skin boosting hydration and increasing skin plumpness and volume.

What are the Benefits of Dermalinfusion?

Dermalinfusion is a beneficial treatment for a myriad of skincare concerns including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne
  • Sun spots
  • Age spots
  • Dry, dehydrated skin
  • Rough texture
  • Uneven skin tone

By removing the outermost layer of dead, dry skin cells, your skin will have an increased ability to retain moisture and the products you use to treat your skin are better able to penetrate. This means that Dermalinfusion will not only provide immediate glow-boosting properties, but you’ll notice its effects for weeks to come. Fine lines and wrinkles will be softened, the appearance of acne and spots will be improved, and your skin will have that radiant, supple quality associated with youthful, healthy skin.

What Can I Expect During Dermalinfusion?

The beauty of each Dermalinfusion procedure is that it can be tailored to your individual skincare needs and concerns. To begin the process, your technician will gently cleanse your skin to remove any debris, makeup, or impurities on the surface of the skin. Then the Dermalinfusion hand-held wand will be passed over the surface of the skin, providing even treatment to your face and neck. The Dermalinfusion wand will gently remove the outermost layers of the skin while delivering deep infusion of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to boost the benefits of microdermabrasion. A series of four to six treatments is recommended to achieve optimal results.

What Types of Infusions are Available with Dermalinfusion?

No matter your skin type, there is a Dermalinfusion serum that will address your concerns.

  • Skin Brightening Facial uses an innovative peptide developed by Stanford University along with radiance-boosting ingredients to correct areas of pigmentation and brighten your complexion.
  • Pore Clarifying Acne Facial uses salicylic acid, oregano oil, and chamomile oil extract to soothe breakouts, tighten pores, and deeply treat spots.
  • Ultra Hydrating Facial is full of hyaluronic acid, watermelon, apple, and lentil extracts and chamomile. This hydrating facial will replenish your skin’s moisture and is safe even for the most sensitive skin types.
  • Vitamin C Anti-Aging Facial helps boost your skin’s production of collagen while powerful vitamin C, vitamin E, and antioxidants work to reduce the visible signs of aging.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

To our Artistry in Plastic Surgery Patients,

We are all experiencing unprecedented changes in our normal routines and I wanted to talk to you as our extended family as to how we here at Artistry in Plastic Surgery are doing.

As of March 23rd, we stopped seeing patients in our offices due to the decision of Governor Hogan to shut down all non-essential businesses. No one knows how long this period is going to last, and I am optimistic this whole ordeal will be over in the not so distant future, allowing us to return to our “normal” lives.

Just as Governor Hogan is trying to do on a much larger scale, we are trying to balance the health and well-being of our patients and employees, while keeping everyone employed, and providing good care to our patients.

To that end, for any patient who needs to be seen for any post-operative care or emergency basis (i.e. laceration repair), I will still be available at either our Lutherville or Bel-Air offices, following all CDC recommendations to prevent exposure.

We have also just implemented the ability to schedule virtual consultations for our current and new patients for injectable, surgical and non-surgical services.

As an extra incentive, we are offering all patients the ability to purchase gift cards from the office at a discount. For all gift cards up to $500, we are offering 10% off or you can choose to receive 15% off for gift cards of more than $500.

If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, virtual consultation with myself, Cheryl or Melissa, if you need a skincare product, or to purchase gift cards please leave a message at 410-828-9570 or by emailing info@drbirely.com and our Patient Coordinator, Christine, will be in touch with you shortly.

As I tell my family and friends, the best way to survive this challenge is to stay informed, make decisions that are best for ourselves and our loved ones, and try not to panic. We will get through this and be stronger on the other side.

Be safe and healthy, - Dr. Brent C. Birely
