Look Better, Not Different
Want to look and feel younger? Over time, the aging process causes changes in the quality and quantity of skin. You can control the skin aging with one of four basic modalities that are available to slow down and even turn back the clock.
1. If you are not doing proper maintenance of your skin with appropriate skin care, you need to start now. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Depending upon the status of your skin, there are various non-invasive, non-surgical modalities available. One of the most popular anti-aging treatments is a chemical peel. It is a quick and easy (in office) procedure with little or no downtime. It contains a unique blend of acids that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion. You can see firmer, brighter looking skin with as little as one treatment. Normally $125, we are now offering an Obagi Radiance peel for only $75 during the months of February and March. Schedule an appointment with one of our aestheticians for a complimentary consultation.
2. If you do not like the frown lines, forehead lines, or crows feet lines, then Botox or Dysport is the answer. Injections every 4-6 months can rid you of those lines and make your face look younger.
3. For those of you with deeper lines/creases, or volume loss, you may be a good candidate for fillers, such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvaderm, or Belotero. These will help smooth out lines and restore lost volume. Call us today to schedule a free consultation with Cheryl Sugar, PA-C to find out which injectables are best for you.
4. If none of the above is right for you, you may need surgery. The first area to evaluate is around your eyes. Whether it’s redundant skin of the upper lids, or bags on the lower lids, a procedure under local anesthesia with sedation can make you look years younger with minimal downtime. The other area to consider is the midface and neck. Ever wondered what you would look like after a nip and tuck? The answer – look at yourself lying on your back. By just changing the direction of gravity, it simulates the results you can get with surgery. The procedure is also done with just sedation and has minimal pain with you looking better, not different, in as little as 7-10 days.
